Born in 1996, she has been setting goals for herself in sports and meeting them ever since she can remember. Indeed, competition has always been Margot’s passion: climbing, skiing, triathlon, trial biking, mountain marathons... She’s even represented her country on the women’s national soccer team.
She’s an Product Design Engineer. Tenacious and adventurous, she is driven by the will to size herself up outside her comfort zone. At just 17 years old, she did her first car rally in Morocco, the Panda Raid as a co-driver, finishing in a very good position. From that moment on, she began her fixation on having adventures in the desert. She learned to ride off-road motorbikes at the age of 18 with a very clear goal: participate in the toughest rally in the world, the Dakar Rally. During all this time she has participated in the Bajas World Cup and in the hardest Rally-Raids: Merzouga Rally, 1000 Dunas, Hellas Rally ... riding and navigating with her motorcycle all over the world.Riders have to really know what they’re doing to successfully compete in rallies. A whole range of skills are essential: navigation, mechanics and decision-making. Margot stands out for her exceptional resistance and resilience, which are absolute musts for anyone who spends long hours navigating on the world’s roughest terrains.
Apart from sports, Margot has always supported social causes. She is currently an ambassador for the Red Cross. She also helps Assandca (association against cancer) and Gol Solidari, where all profits go to disadvantaged children.
Margot already knows what a Rally Dakar is. She has participated twice as press and assistance. In 2018 with the Himoinsa Team where she crossed Peru, Bolivia and Argentina. Also, in 2020 where she met the desert which will face in January, the empty Rub al-Jali in Saudi Arabia. She was able to see with her own eyes the toughness of this rally and above all, learn from the best drivers and co-drivers.
